However, the council would support this application if the application retained the partial retail element and the rest of the building used as an HMO.

- Poples Bow from the junction with Bristol Road, north westwards to the junction with Havage Close, a distance of 610 metres.
This order will enable Somerset Highways to complete patching works.
The Order becomes effective on 06 January 2020 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to last for 5 days (08.00 – 17.00hrs).
- The footpath opening on Ashley Avenue, south-eastwards to the footpath opening on Sutherland Avenue for a total distance of 60 metres.
This order will enable Wales & West Utilities to carry out new gas connection works.
The Order becomes effective on 06 January 2020 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to last for 5 days.

This order will enable Utility Services Ltd to carry out poling works on behalf of BT Openreach.
The Order becomes effective on 26 January 2020 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to last for 3 days (09:30-15:30).

The Order will come into effect on 11 January 2020and will remain in force for six months although the:-
Springfield Road crossing is only likely to be closed from 9pm on 13/1/2020 until 6am on 17/1/2020 and Brunel’s Way crossing is only likely to be closed from 11pm on 11/1/2020 until 7am on 9/2/2020
Burnham Without (Footpath AX 9/1) crossing is only likely to be closed from 9pm on 13/1/2020 until 6am on 17/1/2020
82/19/PC Members CONSIDERED the removal of three BT payphones in Burnham-on-sea:
The payphone in Princess St. has the Theatre and Library nearby and Pier St. has a Taxis Rank and is well used by residents and tourists, they are in prime positions within the town and so would object to their removal. There are other locations within Burnham-on-Sea where BT payphones are being removed where members have had no objections.

83/19/PC Correspondence from the Clerk
The Deputy Clerk informed members application 11/19/00003 – Land to the East of Isleport Lane, Highbridge had been granted permission subject to Section 106 Agreement to secure the following:
• On -site provision for children’s play space in the form of a LEAP and 6 LAPS
• Financial contribution to upgrade a local play space to a MUGA
• Delivery 2.3Ha of habitat area,
• Delivery of 30% Affordable Housing
• Provision of serviced community centre site and agreed implementation plan
• Provision of a pedestrian path
• Travel Plan
The Deputy Clerk informed members that application 11/19/00097 – 8-8A High Street had been granted permission subject to a number of conditions to safeguard local residents from noise and disturbance and protect the visual amenity of the neighbours, including restriction of noise levels, suitable filters for extraction fan, limited opening hours.
Members NOTED two applications had been decided under delegated authority:
11-19-010 – object on the grounds that the physical appearance of the ice-cream kiosk is out of character with the existing main building and would therefore as a permanent structure be a detriment to the visual amenity being within the conservation area.
The kiosk is forward of the main building line and therefore if made permanent would be detrimental to the street scene and also set a precedent.
