Octopus Children’s Daycare welcomed a visit from the Mayor on Wednesday 25th February, after recently securing a grant from Burnham-on-Sea and Highbridge Town Council.
The grant was used to purchase new i-pads for the centre. The i-pads are used by staff for carrying out observations on the children, so that individual children’s learning journeys can be recorded.
The Mayor was interested in how the children play and about the different activity areas within the room. The children also enjoyed the visit, talking to the Mayor and asking him lots of questions.
