BBC Radio Somerset broadcasting live from The Princess Theatre and Arts Centre – Friday 13th February

On Friday 13th February, BBC Radio Somerset will be broadcasting the Simon Parkin Show live from The Princess Theatre and Arts Centre between 9:30 and 11:00am, working with In Charley’s Memory to host a Heads Up mental health workshop. This friendly drop-in morning is open to everyone and offers the chance to chat one-to-one with qualified mental health counsellors about anything on your mind, find out more about local support, or learn how to become a mental health counsellor yourself. That said, there’s absolutely no pressure to speak to a counsellor or go on air — many people can simply come along for a cuppa, to sit and listen, or to chat with others attending. Tea and coffee will be provided, with plenty of room to sit down and talk. It’s completely free to attend, so do come down for a cuppa and a chat if you fancy it.
