Brent Road Cemetery Path Replacement Works to Begin 27th April 2026

Burnham-on-Sea and Highbridge Town Council wishes to inform residents and visitors that essential improvement works will be taking place on the pathways within Brent Road Cemetery from Monday 27th April 2026.  The project forms part of the council’s ongoing commitment to maintaining a safe, accessible and respectful environment for all who visit.

The works are expected to continue for a minimum of four weeks, but it could extend depending on weather conditions or any unforeseen issues.  During this period, some areas of the cemetery may have restricted access while paths are resurfaced and improved.  Some sections may be temporarily closed, but alternative routes will be signposted.

We kindly ask visitors to follow any on-site signage and guidance from staff/contractors to ensure safety while the works are carried out. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we make these important upgrades.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your cooperation in helping us preserve the dignity and accessibility of the cemetery for years to come.

If you need any further information, please contact the Town Council on 01278 788088 or email info@burnham-highbridge-tc.gov.uk.
