Burnham-on-Sea and Highbridge Town Council Thank Volunteers for Successful Community Litter Pick

Burnham-on-Sea and Highbridge Town Council would like to extend its sincere thanks to all the volunteers who took part in the community litter pick held in Burnham-on-Sea on Friday 19th June.

The volunteers generously gave their time to help keep the town clean, safe and welcoming for everyone, working together to collect a significant amount of litter and making an immediate positive impact on the local environment.

Following the litter pick, volunteers were invited to enjoy refreshments, providing a well-earned opportunity to relax, connect with fellow participants and reflect on the success of the clean-up effort.

Councillor Mike Facey, Mayor for Burnham-on-Sea and Highbridge, said:

“We are incredibly grateful to everyone who took part in the litter pick. The enthusiasm and dedication shown by our community is truly inspiring.  Events like this make a real difference and help ensure Burnham-on-Sea remains a place we can all be proud of.”
