Digital High Street Workshops

Digital High Street Workshops

Blending retail and digital for bricks-and-mortar shops

Are you a retail business in Sedgemoor that needs some help selling online and assistance with your digital marketing?

If you are, then don’t miss out on your opportunity to get 12 hours of high-quality digital business support. FREE!

The success and growth of online shopping is frequently seen as contributing to the decline in high street shops – magnified in recent times with the spread of COVID-19.

The online world has become more dominant in what was traditionally a brick and mortar environment but there is still room for both

Clearly, having an online presence is no longer a luxury, but a necessity for retailers.

If local retail businesses are to continue to flourish, especially in a post COVID world, then it’s more important than ever to embrace digital technology and make it work for you.

COSMIC is offering the following workshops, free, to all eligible retail businesses.

To qualify for this free support, you must:

  • Be a sole trader, micro business or SME
  • Have an annual turnover of less than €50m (approx. £42m)
  • Employ fewer than 250 people
  • Have a balance sheet value of less than €43m (approx. £36m)
  • Be less than 25% owned by another company or combination of companies
  • Have received less than €200,000 of public-funded support in the last 3 years

Workshops will be delivered via ZOOM.

Qualifying businesses may attend a maximum of three digital workshops.

Qualifying businesses are required to complete a separate business diagnostic with an advisor.

The Heart of the South West Growth Support Programme is receiving up to £1,294,302 of funding from the England European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). The accountable body for this programme is Devon County Council.
