Minutes of the meeting held on Monday 15th June 2020 at 7pm using video conferencing.

The minutes of the Planning Committee meeting held on Wednesday 13th May 2020 were approved as a correct record and signed by the Chairman.

32/20/PC       Planning Applications considered

A resident spoke on behalf of local neighbours and asked the meeting to object to the application, siting material considerations, potential flooding, detrimental to the visual amenity of the neighbours and that it was out of keeping with the existing properties in Braithwaite Close.

11/20/045      Location: 150 Berrow Road, Burnham-on-Sea, Somerset, TA8 2PN

Proposal: Approval of the details of appearance, landscaping, layout and scale for the erection of 8 dwellings on site of existing outbuilding (to be demolished).

Comment:    Object on grounds that the style and design are out of character with the surrounding Properties. The elevation height in relation to the neighbouring will be over-bearing and would allow overlooking.

Properties Nos.6,7& 8 the road is higher than these and the road appears to slope towards the properties so could potentially increase their risk to flooding.

Regarding the Public Right of Way, there appears not to be details of what is going to happen during the construction period.
