Comment: Members supported this application on the grounds that it provided further living accommodation and improving it in such a way that it was in keeping with neighbouring properties and enhanced the street scene. The improvements enhance the visual amenity of the area. Some consideration was given to the bedrooms being on the ground floor and therefore more at risk if a flooding event took place, but this was minimal compared to surrounding bungalows built at a lower level.

The Clerk updated members regarding application 11/19/051 Club 37, 37 High St. and members were pleased to learn that a condition had been put on the development regarding the location, size and design of the proposed bin storage and that details agreed prior to occupation. Members had supported the application but had been concerned about the lack of clarity regarding bin storage.
