Six sturdy wooden structures, all based on things you may see in Apex Park, have been installed around the pond on the lakeside track. They can also be used a wildlife treasure hunt, so that children can spot them whilst walking around the park.
Eagle-eyed visitors will see a bee, a dragonfly, a snail, a frog, a grasshopper and a butterfly which can be climbed on by children or can be used as a seat.
Sedgemoor District Council applied for the funds to install the seats from the European Regional Development Fund (via the Welcome Back Fund).
