COVID-19 Grant Fund remains open

The Council has agreed to keep the COVID-19 Grant Fund open to support those in the community as the affects of the pandemic are ongoing.

Applications are accepted from constituted and not-for-private-profit voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) sector groups and organisations and charities.

Through the COVID-19 Grant Fund, the Town Council will rapidly provide grant funding to community-led schemes, which identify and safely address some of the important local issues that are arising due to the Coronavirus outbreak.

  • safe deliveries of essential goods and services to those who are vulnerable, such as foods and medicines
  • support for accessing/ signposting to online information and services
  • virtual support groups set up to help people to stay connected and informed and to maintain and support mental health and wellbeing
  • transport-related initiatives that support safe community responses to the outbreak.
