11/20/077

Location:Twenty Two Services Limited, Bennett Road, Highbridge, TA9 4PW
Proposal:Hybrid (full and outline) application. Full application for the change of use of Office Units 5, 6 and 7 to flexible use comprising Use Classes E, B1, B2 and B8, with parking and bin store area. Outline application for the erection of a building for Class E and sui generis use including retail showroom space for automotive related use.

The meeting was pleased to see that there was plenty of provision for parking. They agreed with the application to split the unit into three smaller units as there was demand as small business start-ups. Members noted there was a narrow footpath to the North of the site which provided safe pedestrian access into central Highbridge but the path was very muddy. A suggestion was made to upgrade it under a Section 106.

Comment:    Support on the grounds of improved commercial provision and additional employment. The Council would like to request that a Section 106 could be attached to the application for the upgrade of the footpath that runs along the boundary of the site.

29/21/PC       To consider pre e-consultation letter and plans for Proposed 5G Telecommunications Installation on Marine Drive from Hutchison 3G UK Limited
