Location:150 Berrow Road, Burnham-on-Sea, Somerset, TA8 2PN
Proposal:Approval of the details of appearance, landscaping, layout and scale for the erection of 8 dwellings on site of existing outbuilding (to be demolished).
Case Officer:Shanta Parsons
Applicant:ALMS (Homes) Limited

Comment:    Members maintained their previous objection to the application on the grounds that although the developers had tried to address some of the objections by slightly reducing the ridge heights, ground levels and no side windows to plots 6,7 & 8 and removing the balcony on plot 1 and the position of plot 8, the style and character was still out of keeping with surrounding properties and the height and elevations were still significantly above adjacent properties.

Members felt that their support was subject to vehicles being able to access and egress the site in a forward gear on the grounds of road safety.
