Minutes of the meeting held on Wednesday 18th March 2020 at 7pm in the Council Chamber, The Old Courthouse, Jaycroft Road, Burnham-on-Sea

Members agreed with the Chairman’s suggestion of a slight alteration in the order in which the applications were considered.
Public Participation
A resident asked members to object to the extended opening hours on application 11/20/017 stating it would have an impact on their amenity as they lived above the shop and would be affect by noise at a later hour.
The owner of the business asked members to support his application as he had gone to great financial expense by installing 9” thick soundproofing which was more than adequate. Proposal: Retrospective application for the variation of Condition 2 of Planning Permission 11/98/00057 (Change of use from ground floor shop and first floor offices to ground floor sandwich bar and first floor offices) to change the hours of opening from 07:30-19:30 Monday to Saturday, to 07:30-22:00 Monday to Sunday.
