A public participation session will be held prior the commencement of the formal meeting. Anyone wishing to speak on any matter should give notice to the Clerk by midday on the last working day before the meeting. No resolution can be made on any matter that is not on the agenda.

  1. To receive apologies for non-attendance
  2. To receive any declarations of interest in items included on this Agenda.
  3. To receive and approve the minutes of the Committee meetings held on 18th May 2020, Thursday 21st May 2020 and Monday 29th June 2020.
  4. To note updates to the Action List
  5. To consider the available data & consultation responses relating to the street safety measures implemented under the SCC Highways Traffic Order and resolve how to proceed.
  6. To resolve how to conduct safe Christmas lights switch-on events 2020
  7. To note the progress on the VJ Day Gallery event (report from Projects Officer)
  8. To consider the SID report and agree which SID should be purchased and which locations it should be sited (report from Projects Officer)
  9. To agree a process to assess tender submissions for the elements of the seafront enhancement works identified under Burnham Evolution
  10. The next scheduled meeting of this committee will be held on 28th September 2020 at 7pm.

Grant Application Kings Coronation Form

The Coronation of His Majesty King Charles III will take place on Saturday 6th May 2023, with an additional bank holiday on Monday 8th May 2023.

We are keen to hear from groups/organisations in Burnham-on-Sea and Highbridge that are looking to celebrate the Coronation. The Town Council has £1500 available to allocate to events being organised to celebrate the Kings Coronation. The maximum grant to be allocated per event will be £500.

You must meet the following criteria for your application to be considered:

– The event will be open to all members of the public

– The event will be free of charge

– The event will take place within the Coronation weekend

– The event will take place within Burnham on Sea or Highbridge

 

Applications will close on Monday 6th March at midday.
