AGENDA

  2. To receive any declarations of interest on items included on this Agenda and to note any dispensations granted.
  3. To receive and approve the minutes of the Committee meeting held on Monday 14th October (copy enclosed)

  5. Motions for note/resolution
    1. To consider a motion submitted by Cllr Clayton to allocate a budget for events that will enable progression of the Corporate Pillar 2: Cultural & Community.
    2. To consider the Town Council’s preliminary 2020/21 budget and to agree any recommendations.
    3. To resolve to adopt the revised Annual Investment Policy
    4. To receive a confidential update on progress relating to a grant application and to decide whether to proceed. Please note that, subject to discussions of a confidential nature, the chairman will take a decision as to whether it is necessary to exclude the press and public during this item.
  6. Financial Reports
  7.  To note the quarterly review of bank account reconciliations has been completed
  8. The next meeting of this committee will be held on Monday 13th January 2019 at 7pm The Old Courthouse.

Grant Application Kings Coronation Form

The Coronation of His Majesty King Charles III will take place on Saturday 6th May 2023, with an additional bank holiday on Monday 8th May 2023.

We are keen to hear from groups/organisations in Burnham-on-Sea and Highbridge that are looking to celebrate the Coronation. The Town Council has £1500 available to allocate to events being organised to celebrate the Kings Coronation. The maximum grant to be allocated per event will be £500.

You must meet the following criteria for your application to be considered:

– The event will be open to all members of the public

– The event will be free of charge

– The event will take place within the Coronation weekend

– The event will take place within Burnham on Sea or Highbridge

 

Applications will close on Monday 6th March at midday.
