A public participation session will be held prior the commencement of the formal meeting. Anyone wishing to speak on any matter should give notice to the Clerk by midday on the last working day before the meeting. No resolution can be made on any matter that is not on the agenda. Agenda

  1. To receive apologies for non-attendance
  2. To receive any declarations of interest on items included on this Agenda. Motions for note/resolution
  3. To consider and approve the updated Complaints Procedure
  4. To consider and approve the proposed Pandemic Policy & Procedure
  5. To receive an update from the Town Clerk on actions taken to address operations in relation to Coronavirus
  6. To consider what pay and time off procedures will apply to staff in relation to Coronavirus
  7. To agree changes to the office public opening times
  8. To approve the job description & person specification for the post of Town Ranger (to be tabled)
  9. To resolve to exclude the press and public during items 10 and 11 due to the confidential nature of the matters to be discussed that relate to staffing.
  10. To consider the recommendations on changes to the RFO terms and conditions of employment and resolve recommended changes
  11. To consider the workload and working hours of the Town Clerk and resolve changes

  2. The next scheduled meeting of this committee will be held on 4th June 2020 at 7pm The Old Courthouse.

Grant Application Kings Coronation Form

The Coronation of His Majesty King Charles III will take place on Saturday 6th May 2023, with an additional bank holiday on Monday 8th May 2023.

We are keen to hear from groups/organisations in Burnham-on-Sea and Highbridge that are looking to celebrate the Coronation. The Town Council has £1500 available to allocate to events being organised to celebrate the Kings Coronation. The maximum grant to be allocated per event will be £500.

You must meet the following criteria for your application to be considered:

– The event will be open to all members of the public

– The event will be free of charge

– The event will take place within the Coronation weekend

– The event will take place within Burnham on Sea or Highbridge

 

Applications will close on Monday 6th March at midday.
