89/20/PC To consider an application for a New Premises Licence for Somerset Gift Company, 33, High Street, Burnham on Sea, Somerset, TA8 1PA under Licensing Act 2003.
The meeting agreed that they had no comments to make on the granting of this New Premises License
90/20/PC To consider under the Town & Country Planning Act 1990, proposed Public Path Diversion Order of Footpath AX 32/21 (in part) Land at Lakeside, in the Parish of Burnham and Highbridge.
The meeting discussed the Public Path Diversion Order and were very pleased to see that the diversion improved public safety by diverting it away from crossing the railway line. This had been a safety concern of the Town Council on the outline planning application 11/18/087.
The meeting concluded that it looked like the proposed diversion would take the line of the estate pavement up to where it joins the A38. Members request that a safety rail / barrier is installed at this junction to discourage pedestrians crossing at this point.
91/20/PC To note the summary of decisions from Development Committee on 10th November 2020: 11/20/00113, 24 Sutherland Ave, Burnham-on-Sea for the proposed erection of a single storey extension to the front (SE) elevation, erection of a fence atop existing garden wall and retrospective consent for the erection of a 6ft fence to delineate the parking area from the front garden. To Grant permission with an additional condition relating to flood resilience measures.
The meeting NOTED the decision from Development Committee which was contrary to the decision of the Town Council.
